Qu Yuan was the former residence of Yu Yue (1821-1907), a master of universal learning in the late Qing Dynasty.
Completed in 1874, it is located at No. 43, Ma Medical Branch, Gusu District, Suzhou City.
Donated to the local government by Yu Pingbo (1900-1990), the great-grandson of Yu Yue and a famous scholar.
is now a national cultural relics protection unit managed by Suzhou Literature and Art Home.
In Suzhou gardens, Qu Yuan has his own unique humanistic history and spatial temperament.
We hope to use the works and concepts of new age artists to activate, discover or recreate a new space in these remnants of time and matter.
